The reason…

Hi, I’m Laura, the parent behind Little Steelie.

Like many parents, I started to question the everyday products my children were using, especially when it came to food and drink. I wanted safer, non-toxic alternatives to plastic, even the ‘BPA-free’ kind, which can still leach chemicals, disrupt hormones and shed microplastics.

But when I searched for plastic-free kids tableware that my children would enjoy using, I hit a wall.

The options were either safe and boring, or fun and full of materials I didn’t fully trust. I wanted products that were:

• Safe for little mouths and hands (free from BPA, phthalates and microplastics);

• Strong enough to last (and survive being thrown on the floor regularly!);

• Sustainable and kinder to the planet;

• And just as importantly… fun for my kids to use every day…

…so I create Little Steelie! A range of non-toxic, eco-friendly, stainless steel cups and snack pots / food storage designed for children.

But this is just the beginning… more exciting designs and products are on the way.
